Traci Ann Crone

December 21, 2018

Traci Ann Crone, 53, of Danville, PA entered into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 29, 1965 in Bloomsburg PA, the daughter of the late William E.Hancock and Dorothy Nevius Hancock of Danville PA.

She graduated from Danville High School in 1983 and from McCann School of Business in Sunbury with an associate degree in Paralegal Studies.

Traci is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Stanley E. Crone, Jr. They were married August 1, 1987.

She was employed at the Northumberland County District Attorney’s Office as a paralegal for four years.  She also worked at Susquehanna University as an administrative assistant in the Political Science Department.  Recently, she was employed at Weis Markets Company Headquarters in Sunbury, PA as the Maintenance Dispatcher.

Traci was a member of St. Paul’s Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Danville, PA.

An avid lover of animals, Traci rescued numerous animals who brought much joy to her and her family’s lives.  Her sense of humor and quick wit brought smiles to her children’s faces and she will be remembered by many for her delightful smile.   She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, especially her children, doing for them what she loved best, being their mother.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one son, David W. Crone of Bloomsburg PA and one daughter, Gracie H Crone, at home.  Also surviving is one brother, William E. Hancock, II and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Because of her love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to The Danville SPCA at 1467 Bloom Road Danville, PA  17821.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home 42 W Mahoning Street Danville PA 17821. www.visneski.com
