Albert F. Willoughby, Jr., 74, of Danville, PA
went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at
Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg PA. He was born April 8, 1944 in
Coal Township PA the son of the late Albert and Wanda Schuck Willoughby.
He graduated from Danville High School in 1964
Albert is survived by his devoted wife of 56
years, Anna Diehl Willoughby. They were married July 23, 1962.
Albert was employed for 30 years at Danville
State Hospital as a psychiatric aide, from where he retired in 1994.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and
fishing as well as landscaping and tenderly caring for his Christmas trees.
He thoroughly enjoyed vacationing in Canada as well as watching old movies
and listening to music. Albert loved to watch and play baseball,
basketball and football. He played and managed the Danville Menís Softball
League along with his brother Terry for many years. Above all, his greatest
joy was teaching and watching his grandsons play baseball and basketball.
In addition to his wife; he is survived by one
daughter, Sally Ann Lupini of Danville PA. Also surviving are three
grandchildren; Dylan, Dalton and Dakota Lupini. He is also survived by one
sister, Wanda Buss and her husband Terry and one brother Terry Willoughby
and his wife Marie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private at the
convenience of the family.
