William Hans Turner, 64, of Nescopeck, PA
passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his
family and friends. He was born February 6, 1956 in Trier, Germany the son
of the late Linton L. Turner and Norma H. Johnston Turner, who survives.
William graduated from Temple High School in
Temple, Texas in June of 1974.
He served his country in both the United States
Army and the United States Navy.
William was married for 10 years to Tammy
Livering Turner. They were married on November 8, 2008.
He was employed as a chef with Applebee’s
Restaurant in several states for over 30 years.
William loved the outdoors, especially hiking.
He enjoyed all sports, especially football and golf. One of the greatest
enjoyments in his life was hanging out with his best friends, Josh
Lindenfeld and Shaun Michael Reinhardt. He will be warmly remembered by
many for his generous giving heart and as an “old fashioned perfect
In addition to his wife and his mother, he is
survived by his daughter, Christina Rebuck of Shamokin PA and one sister,
Patty Hines and her husband Steve of Lewisburg PA. Also surviving are two
granddaughters; Adrianna Hans and Sophia Stewart and one grandson, Samson
Rebuck. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
Services will be private and held at the
convenience of the family. His place of rest will be at the St. Luke’s
Catholic Church Columbarium in Temple, Texas.
