Stanley E. Davis, 84, of Danville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by
his family on Friday, April 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born at home
December 31, 1933 in Danville PA the son of the late Charles and Ethel
Stanley graduated from Danville High School in 1952.
served his country in the United States Army from 1956 – 1958.
married for 61 years to Virginia Ann Evans Davis. They were married
September 1, 1956.
Stanley was employed for 44 years at TRW in Danville PA, from where he
retired in 1995.
a faithful member of Mahoning Presbyterian Church Danville PA. His other
memberships included the Danville Elks, East End Fire Company and Washies
Stanley was an avid Danville High School Football fan and a Penn State fan.
He enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife and his friends, especially
to the beach. He treasured his children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren and will be warmly remembered by them all.

Maxine of Danville PA and by his daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Davis of Danville
PA. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Allison McKeown and her husband
Joseph of West Lawn PA; Stephanie Long and her husband Kyle of Catawissa PA
and Marissa Held and her husband Triston of Holly Ridge North Carolina. He
is also survived by four great-grandchildren; Jameson and Shannon; Ethan and
Jason as well as several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is one brother,
Harold “Butch” Davis and his wife Mary Ann of Danville PA.
preceded in death by one stepson, Steven Buck on May 8, 2012 and four
brothers; Charles “Sunny” Davis, Thomas Davis, Kenneth Davis and Robert
Davis as well as three sisters; Kathleen Buck, Alma “Pat” Doebler and Marion
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Stanley’s life
to be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Mahoning Presbyterian Church 106 East
Mahoning Street Danville PA at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows
Cemetery Danville PA. Friends will be received from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at
