Mary Jane Mordan

Mary Jane Mordan, 84, formerly of Danville PA passed away peacefully Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  She was born June 3, 1934 in Danville PA the daughter of the late Willard and Helen Kovaschetz Hunsinger. 

She graduated from Danville High School.  

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles K. Malone on November 21, 1966 while serving his country during the Vietnam War.  On January 20, 1968 she married Earl D. Mordan, Sr. who preceded her in death November 3, 2006.   

Mary Jane was a dedicated and proud member of the Red Hat Society.  She loved dining out with her friends and her family.  She especially enjoyed trying out her luck at the Casinos.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. 

She is survived by five sons; Earl D. “Skip” Mordan, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Bloomsburg PA; Mark S. Mordan and his wife Bonnie of Bloomsburg PA; Charles K. Malone, Jr.  and his wife Jami of Selinsgrove PA; Patrick K. Malone and his wife Michelle of Mount Carmel PA and Kevin M. Malone and his partner Tom Carneal of Richmond VA and two daughters; Mary “Bunny” Bostow and her husband Paul  of Lawrenceburg KY and  Robin E. Rebuck and her husband David of Northumberland PA. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Dunkelberger; one granddaughter, Charlee Malone and one great-grandson, Landen.   

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
