Louise Ranck, 92, of Milton PA passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at
Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. She was born September 26, 1926, in
Milton PA the daughter of the late Eugene and Marion Tate Campbell.
graduated from Milton High School in 1944.
was the devoted wife of 67 years to Dale E. Ranck, Jr., who survives. They
were married February 2, 1951.
high school she was employed by CD Clark Ford and Spangler Motors. Later
she worked as a teacher’s aide by Milton Schools. She also assisted her
husband in the operation of the family business for many years, The Dale E.
Ranck Funeral Service, Inc. in Milton.
was a member of First Baptist Church of Milton PA where she served as church
treasurer, a member of the “JOY” Sunday School Class, in the church choir
and assisted with numerous church and outreach events. She was also a
former member of the Milton Garden Club where she served as treasurer for a
number of years.
addition to her husband, she is survived by one son; David E. Ranck of Palm
Desert CA and one daughter, Susan E. Hiller and her husband R. Michael of
Milton PA. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Jamison D. Hiller and
his wife Rebecca; Kaitlin E. Martin and her husband Zane; all of Milton PA
and Aaron M. Hiller of Harrisburg PA and three great-grandchildren; Levi
Martin, Sophie Martin and Emmerson Hiller; all of Milton PA. Also surviving
is one sister, Patricia Pfleegor and her husband John of New Columbia PA and
one sister-in-law Barbara Campbell of Milton PA. She was preceded in
death by one sister, Polly Campbell in 2002 and one brother, Richard
Campbell in 2017.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening, October 17, 2018 at 7:30 PM
at First Baptist Church of Milton 316 Golf Course Road Milton PA with the
Reverend James Dries officiating. Friends will be received from 6:30pm until
the time of service. Interment will be held in Milton Cemetery on Thursday,
October 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
