Elizabeth Jane Berninger

Elizabeth Jane Berninger, 88, of Bloomsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. She was born October 29, 1929 in Shamokin, PA, the daughter of the late Herbert and Edna Woolridge Wehry 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fritz Nahodil and her second husband, Quentin Berninger on March 1, 1978. 

She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker for most of her life. 

Elizabeth was a member of Godís Missionary Church in Berwick PA for many years. 

She loved to cook and was an avid baker.  She enjoyed collecting cookbooks and thoroughly enjoyed attending yard sales.  Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family. 

Elizabeth is survived by one son; Randy Quentin Berninger of Bloomsburg, PA. Also surviving is one grandson, Zachary Skyler Hilliker of Williamstown, New Jersey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Elizabeth Reed on September 11, 2015 and her grandson, Derek Christopher Hilliker on July 4, 1997.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. 

At Elizabethís requests, there will be no services.
