Lester W. Aucker


January 31, 2017


Lester W. Aucker, 57, of Danville, PA passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 resulting from an automobile accident in Danville, PA.  He was born July 22, 1959 in Danville, PA, the son of the late Jay Aucker and Pearl H. Wilt Richardson. 

He graduated from Danville Area High School in 1977. 

Lester attended SUNCOM Industries where he participated in various programs. 

His memberships included St. Paulís Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Danville, PA, Danville Moose, and Pennsylvania Outdoor Life. 

Lester enjoyed fishing, Harley motorcycles, listening to country music and animals. He enjoyed high quality Legos and car models. He also enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and NASCAR. Lester looked forward to his vacations to Atlantic City every year. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family. 

Lester is survived by a special aunt; Pat Keppler of Danville, PA, a special girlfriend, Tammy Shaffer of Danville, and great friend/home advocate; Terry Johns of Danville.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by one sister; Debra L. Reynolds and one brother, Richard A. Aucker. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Lesterís Life to be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00AM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street, Danville, PA with the Reverend Trevor Hahn officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Danville, PA. 

The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to SUNCOM Industries, Inc., 128 Water Street, Northumberland, PA 17857.
