June S. Eyerly, 92, formerly of Danville PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Nottingham Village in Northumberland PA.   She was born June 25,  1925 in Atlantic City NJ  the daughter of the late Lewis Carl and Mary Ann  Helliwell Spalding. 

She  graduated from Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville NJ and later from Jefferson University in Philadelphia PA as a Registered Nurse. 

She was married for 55 years to the Late Robert C. Eyerly, M.D.  who preceded her in death November 16, 2001.  They were married November 2, 1946. 

June was employed in her earlier years as a private duty nurse.  She volunteered faithfully for the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross and at Abigail's Attic in Danville PA. 

 She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Danville PA and The Women's Auxiliary

at Geisinger Medical Center.   Her greatest accomplishment and passion was caring for her husband and her family.  She also enjoyed flower gardening. 

She is survived by one son; R. Michael Eyerly and his wife Joyce of White Bear Lake, MN and two daughters; Patricia E. McMahan and her husband Mark of Kinsman OH and Deborah E. Orris and her husband David of Selinsgrove PA  Also surviving are  four granddaughters; Stephanie Eyerly Webb and her husband Stuart of Coral Gables, Rebecca Eyerly of New York City NY,  Amy Orris of Wilkes-Barre PA and Sarah Orris Krajsa and her husband John of Breinigsville PA  She is also survived by one great-grandson, Phineaus James Webb. 

Services and burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA at the convenience of the family.
