Herman F. Wolfe, III

Herman F. Wolfe, III, 46, of Danville PA passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.   He was born November 7, 1970 in Danville PA the son of the late Herman F. and Mary Jane Long Wolfe, Jr.  

He graduated from Danville High School in 1991. 

Herman had been employed as a construction laborer for Counter Artists in Benton PA. 

He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, stargazing and eating out at local restaurants, always ready to try new places and new food. Herman was an avid animal lover and he enjoyed writing, especially poetry.  A tenderhearted, kind soul, Herman adored spending time with his family and his friends who will deeply miss him. 

He is survived by one brother; Ronald C. Wolfe of Danville PA and two sisters; Christine L. Foust and her husband Max L. of Watsontown PA and Sally K. Wolfe of Danville PA. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition, he is survived by his very dear friends, Mark and Brenda Webb of Catawissa PA and their daughter, Briella. 

He was preceded in death by one brother Ricky Wolfe in 1978 and two sisters; Mary Margaret Wolfe in 1966 and Beverly Lyons in 1997. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Hermanís life to be held Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham officiating. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.   Burial will follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville PA. 

The family will provide flowers. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Danville SPCA 2810 Bloom Road Danville PA or First Baptist Church 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA 17821.
