Pauline E. Snyder

 Pauline E. Snyder, 79, of Danville PA passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 after a long illness.  She was born on March 24, 1937 in Bloomsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Warner and Mary (Tobias) Drumm. 

Pauline was married to her devoted husband of 59 years who loved her dearly, Richard C. Snyder, who survives.  They were married June 15, 1957. 

She graduated from Danville Area High School, Class of 1955.  She was employed by the Danville Lumber Company after her graduation. Pauline was a dedicated homemaker for most of her life. After raising her children, she returned to work in the cafeteria for the Danville Area School District, from where she retired.  

Pauline was a member of St. Peterís Lutheran Church, Danville, where she served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher for many years. 

She enjoyed doing many crafts.  The joy of Paulineís life were her children and grandchildren.        

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Patti Frable and her husband Jeff of Effort and Wendy Rehm and her husband John of Turbotville.   Also surviving are her three grandchildren:  Heather, Katie, and John, Jr. She was preceded in death by her loving son, Gary R. Snyder. Pauline was one of four siblings. 

 Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Peterís Lutheran Church 726 Columbia Hill Road Danville with Pastor Robert Kerchoff officiating.  Friends will be received from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.  Burial will follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville PA.  

The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Mission 327 Ferry Street Danville PA  17821 or to the church.
