James L. "Jim" Barker

James L. "Jim" Barker, 64, of Milton, Pennsylvania passed from life to life eternal on Tuesday morning, February 2, 2016 surrounded by his family at his residence.  He was born January 14, 1952 in Renovo PA the son of the late Merrill Barker and Rose Ann Long Lookingbill. 

He graduated from Francis Scott Key High School in Taneytown Maryland. 

Jim was married for 45 years to Debra E. Taylor Barker. They were married December 19, 1970. 

He was the previous owner and operator, along with his wife, of Clinton Bowling Lanes in Lock Haven PA, retiring in 1990. 

Jim enjoyed the sport of bowling, golf and football, bird watching and street rod cars.  He especially enjoyed listening to music.  His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family whom he adored. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters; Kimberly Harris of Danville PA; Stacey McLaren and her husband Glenn "Andy" of Lewisburg PA and Wendy Arnold and her husband Andrew of Riverside PA.  He was lovingly known as Pop Pop by his four grandchildren; Devynn, Madison, Jayden, Taylor as well as one grandchild due to arrive in 2016. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Merrill Barker in 2009. 

Friends will be received from 1:00 PM  to 2:15 PM followed by a Celebration of Jim's life at 2:30 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church 306 Lombard Avenue Danville, PA with the Reverend Ronald S. French officiating. Burial will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville PA at the convenience of the family.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Pittsburgh Fisher House 3945 Forbes Ave Box 240 Pittsburgh, PA 15213 or online donations at pittsburghfisherhouse.org or Trinity United Methodist Church.
