Darlis M. Baylor

Darlis M. Baylor, 90, of 1410 Brook Avenue, Danville, PA passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.   She was born October 24, 1925 in Danville, PA the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Mary Alice (Rogers) Weidensaul.  

Darlis graduated from Danville High School in 1943.  

She was the former secretary to D. Edward Edmondson for many years. Darlis was also a Teacher's Aide in the Danville Schools for twelve years.   

She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Danville and a long time member of Community Garden Club of Danville. 

Darlis enjoyed gardening, traveling, and fishing. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her son, Wayne. 

Darlis is survived by one son, Wayne N. Baylor of Danville, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Baylor in 1996, three sisters, Bernice Wands, Dorothy Reilly, and Mary A. Weidensaul and one brother, Floyd N. Weidensaul.   

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside service to be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:30AM at  Odd Fellows Cemetery, 1402 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821 with her nephew, Ken Wands officiating.
