Marie Rospendowski, 40, of 7751 Sullivan Circle Alexandria VA and formerly
of Danville PA was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on
Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
was born August 2, 1975 in Danville PA and was the daughter of George and
Carol Long Buckley of Danville PA.
graduated from Bloomsburg Christian School in 1994 and from Houghton College
in 1996 with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development. Dawn was
employed as a childcare provider at KinderCare in Claymont DE and she worked
as an Administrative Assistant for Brown & Associates Investment Services in
Fayetteville NC for six years. Above all else, Dawn cherished her career as
a homemaker and as a mother to her children and was treasured in that role
by her husband and two children.
was a former member of First Baptist Church of Danville. Her spiritual life
was abundant with her passion for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and
participating in numerous Ladies’ Bible Studies throughout the years.
addition to her love for children, Dawn will be remembered for her quiet,
kind and gentle spirit. She was a devoted friend to so many throughout her
life and added so much value to each of them. Her many interests included
crafting and she found much delight in music, especially Christmas music
which you could hear her singing throughout the year. Dawn played the
French horn and the piano. She enjoyed attending Csehy Summer School of
Music in Muncy PA for several summers. Dawn also thoroughly enjoyed
traveling extensively with her military family.
addition to her parents, she is survived and will be deeply missed by the
love of her life and husband of 18 years, Aaron Michael Rospendowski whom
she married December 28, 1996 and her two children; Jonathan Aaron and
Bella Rain; both at home.
surviving is one sister; Lori Jeanne Baronner and her fiancé Greg Gaghan of
Cranberry Township PA and three brothers; Brian Buckley and his wife Kim of
Harrisburg, PA ; Earl Buckley and his wife Betsy of Campbell NY and William
Buckley and his wife Linda of Lewisburg PA. Also surviving are 5 nieces and
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Dawn’s life to
be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church 20
Brookside Drive (off Route 642 East) Danville PA with the Reverend Dr. Harry
H. Wonderland officiating assisted by the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham. Friends
will be received from 9:15 AM until 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in Odd
Fellows Cemetery Danville PA. The family will provide flowers. Memorial
