Mancinelli, 92, a resident of Emmanuel Home in Northumberland PA for 10
years and formerly of Philadelphia PA passed away peacefully Monday, August
17, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. He was born December 22,
1922 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Justino and Carmella Urso
served his country in the United States Army during World War II in the
Normandy Campaign and the Battle of the Bulge. He received the Good Conduct
Medal and Victory Medal along with five bronze stars for his service.
Mancinelli spent his entire career as a signal repairman for the Reading
Railroad from where he retired.

Mancinelli was an avid Lionel train collector. He was a generous, loving
uncle who loved spending time with his nieces and his nephew and their
survived by one nephew, Paul Mancinelli of Coatesville PA and four nieces;
Marie Tingley of Port Charlotte FL; Nancy J. Klimchak of Aliquippa PA; Bette
J. Eckel of Danville PA and Joan Van Atta of Park City Utah. He was
preceded in death by four brothers; Joseph, Peter, and Paul and one brother
in his youth.
Graveside services will be private at Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation to be held at Visneski
Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville PA on Tuesday evening,
August 18, 2015 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to
