Darlis J. Heimback

Darlis J. Heimbach, 97, of 228 Reinaker Road Danville PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA. She was born June 20, 1918 in Danville PA the daughter of the late Francis I. and Sarah E. Everhart Fasold. 

She was married to her husband of 41 years, Clarence R. Heimbach who preceded her in death May 11, 1975.  They were married January 27, 1934. 

Darlis was a loving and dedicated homemaker.  She was employed as a clerk for Newberry's Danville PA for 12 years and as a housekeeper for First Baptist Church in Danville PA for 12 years, retiring in 1992. 

Her interests included sewing and ceramics.  Darlis loved being in the garden with her flowers.  Her greatest enjoyment in her life was time spent with her family whom she adored. 

She is survived by one son; Terry C. Heimbach of Danville PA and one daughter, Donna Mae Fry and her husband Larry of Danville PA and four grandchildren; Terry, Hope, Larry and Kevin and six great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is one sister, Grace Keener of Lancaster PA and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Paul I. Fasold, Donald F. Fasold and Charles Fasold. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with her pastor the Reverend Dr. Harry H. Wonderland officiating assisted by the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham.  Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville PA.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund 20 Brookside Drive Danville PA 17821.  www.visneski.com
