Dennis C. Lewis

Dennis C. Lewis, 67, of 211 Mill Street Danville PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 19, 2014.  He was born September 11, 1947 in Quakertown PA the son of the late Leroy and Ethel Ahlum Lewis. 

He is survived by his wife, Carol DeSantis Lewis.  They were married December 10, 2000 and would have celebrated 14 years of marriage. 

Dennis was self-employed as a Professional Barber in Quakertown PA and also in Berwick PA.  He had been employed as a Barber at Master's Hairstyling in Danville PA for the past 18 years.

 He attended Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton PA.  Dennis was a lifelong member of the West End Fire Department in Quakertown. 

He enjoyed horseracing.  His greatest enjoyment in life was spending quality time with his wife and family. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Denise Bodman from Tamaqua PA and two stepsons; John Carr and his companion Carol Altimore of Mount Carmel PA and David Carr of Danville PA.  He is also survived by three grandchildren; Devin, Dane and Dalton Bodman; all of Tamaqua.  Also surviving is one brother, Roger Lewis and his wife Kathy and two sisters; Cheryl Williams and her husband Kenneth and Gail DeReiter; all of Quakertown PA.   

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Dennis's Life  to be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Christ Wesleyan Church Davis Chapel, 363 Stamm Road Milton PA.  Burial will be private.  Friends will be received from 10:30 until 11:45 AM at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to WPGM Radio PO Box 236 Danville PA 17821.
