McWilliams, 90, of 117 West Market Street, Danville PA passed away Monday,
December 8, 2014 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois PA. She was born July
23, 1924 in Shamokin PA, the daughter of the late Francis and Violet Wolfe
married for 68 years to Charles E. "Sonny" McWilliams, Jr. whom she married
July 15, 1946.
Nancy graduated in 1941 from Shamokin High School.
She graduated from Bloomsburg State College in 1961 with a Bachelor's degree
and in 1964 with a Master's degree in Elementary Education and from
Bucknell University in 1966 with a Master's degree in Guidance. She was
employed as a teacher in the Danville School District in 1963 and from
1969-1988 as a Guidance Counselor at Danville High School.
Nancy was a member of St.
Joseph Catholic Church, Danville PA.
Nancy was an avid reader
and enjoyed her piano, puzzles and spending time with her family. She liked
to travel and for much of her life belonged to several bowling leagues.

Charles "Chad" McWilliams and his wife Rory of Yorba Linda CA and one
daughter, Sharon Frances Carr and her partner Kevin Hudock DuBois PA. Also
surviving are eight grandchildren; Renee Mongold and her husband Steve of
Virginia Beach VA, Brian Carr of Virginia Beach VA, Alyssa Putnam and her
husband Niles of Dover Delaware, Mark Carr of Pittsburgh PA, Patrick Carr of
Pittsburgh PA, Brett Holmes and his wife Jessica of Yorba Linda CA; Shannon
Gard and her husband Wes of Ladera Ranch CA and Kerry McWilliams of Anaheim
CA and eight great-grandchildren; Ben, Kyle, Will, Josh, Dorian, Addy,
Taylor and Sydney.
Relatives and friends are
invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday, December
13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 18 E Center Street
Danville PA with the Reverend Tri M. Luong officiating. Burial will follow
in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Danville PA. Friends will be received
Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10
West Mahoning Street Danville PA and from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM in St. Hubert
Chapel at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis TN
