Jan Marie Lawton Crawford

Jan Marie Lawton Crawford, 54, of 133 West 8th Street Bloomsburg PA was welcomed into Glory and into the arms of her loving Savior on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  She was born July 21, 1960 in Bloomsburg PA the daughter of the late James and Helen Gensemer Lawton. 

She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1978.  In her earlier years she was employed as a teller for First Columbia Bank and Trust and for Harding and Hill Law Offices.  Later, she was the bookkeeper for Lawton Plumbing and Heating for over 20 years. 

She was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church in West Milton.    She was actively involved in Columbia/Montour Special Olympics. 

Jan's greatest enjoyment in life was making memories and spending time with her children and her grandchildren whom she adored. 

She is survived by one son, Mitchell S. Crawford and his wife Sara of Bloomsburg PA and two daughters; Amanda Crawford and Rachel Crawford, both of Bloomsburg PA and two granddaughters; Constance and Amelia Crawford.   She is also survived by two brothers; James Lawton and his wife Kathy of Rochester NY and Dave Lawton and his wife Jan of Mechanicsburg PA.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one infant son, Ryan and one infant daughter, Lydia. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Jan's life to be  held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Journeymate Ministries 1700 Main Street in Lightstreet, Bloomsburg PA with her longtime friend Pastor Tom Carney officiating. The family will provide flowers.  Because of Jan's deep love for children, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics PA,Columbia/Montour Counties PO Box 654 Bloomsburg PA  17815.
