Brent K. Lees

Brent K. Lees, 77, of 320 East Front Street, Danville, PA, passed away Saturday morning, January 25, 2014 at Grandview Health Homes, Inc., Danville, PA. He was born November 20, 1936 in Syracuse, New York, the son of the late Benjamin and Helen Rogers Lees. 

Brent graduated in 1955 from Central High School, Syracuse, NY.  He retired after serving for 20 years with the United States Air Force in 1974.  He was the recipient of the Bronze Star.  He then attended Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, PA, graduating in 1978 with a degree in Mathematics and a secondary degree in Anthropology. 

He was employed by North Central Digital in Danville, PA.  Brent also was employed as the Director of Veteran's Affairs for Montour County for several years.  

He was a member of Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Danville, PA.  Brent was also a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Moose; all of Danville. 

He enjoyed photography. 

Brent is survived by his wife Saundra L. Beyer Lees. He is also survived by two sons, Geoffrey T. Lees of Frackville, PA and Gregory T. Lees of Mount Joy, PA and two daughters; Elizabeth Anne Caramihalis and her husband Charlie of York, Maine and Alison Grace Lees of Danville, PA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brent is also survived by one brother, Gary Lees and his wife Joyce of Liverpool, New York. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Requiem Eucharist to be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, 120 E. Market Street, Danville, officiated by the Reverend Nancy Shank.  Burial with military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Brent asked that memorial contributions be made to Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 363, Danville, PA 17821.
