John V. Sekscienski


February 21, 2013


John V. Sekscienski, 89, of 203 Middle Street, Danville, PA, passed away, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center.  He was born May 16, 1923 in Heidelberg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late John and Mary Giada Sekscienski. 

He graduated from Milton High School. John was employed as a can inspector by American Home Foods in Milton, PA for many years.  He was of the catholic faith.  

He enjoyed auto racing especially NASCAR and the New York Yankees baseball team. 

John is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Dora A. Hoffman.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.  

Friends will be received from 12:30pm-2:00pm, Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc., 10 West Mahoning Street, Danville, PA 17821.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Danville, PA. www.visneski.com
