E. Mancinelli, 89, a resident of Emmanuel Home in Northumberland since 2005
and formerly of 664 Cricket Avenue Ardsley, PA went home to be with her Lord
and Savior Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Nottingham Village Nursing Center in
Northumberland where she had resided for three months. She was born July 21,
1924 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Louis Chris and Emilie
graduated from Kensington High School in 1942 and attended the Bible
Institute in Philadelphia for one year. Grace was employed by Gimbelís of
Philadelphia as a salesperson in her earlier years and was a homemaker most
of her life. She enjoyed writing poetry and loved artwork. Her greatest
joy and passion in life was telling everyone she met about the love that
Jesus had for them. She did this, most often, through her active gospel
was married for 61 years to Peter Mancinelli who preceded her in death March
13, 2006. They were married November 11, 1944.
survived by two daughters, Nancy J. Klimchak and her husband Joseph J., Jr.
of Aliquippa, PA and Bette J. Eckel and her husband Timothy B., M.D. of
Danville PA. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren. She is also survived one sister, Betty Wanner of Denver PA.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and
Relatives and friends will be received for a visitation time from 6:30 PM
until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10
West Mahoning Street Danville PA. A private graveside service will be held
on Wednesday at the Lawnview Cemetery Huntington Pike Rockledge, PA.
