Doris lived her life in full dedication and love to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved fellowship with her friends with whom she enjoyed a wide range of activities, always spreading good cheer and love to all.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Eugene Reid Shipe whom she married December 14, 1946.  Also surviving are three sons; Joe Shipe and his wife Judy of Danville PA; Mark Shipe and his wife Deborah of Milton PA and Matt Shipe and his wife Christine of Danville PA and one daughter, Susan Cutler and her husband Steven of Lititz PA.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
