L. Vanderhoff, 84, of Danville PA passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at
Emmanuel Nursing Center at Maria Joseph Danville PA. She was born October
29, 1927 in Swoyersville PA the daughter of the late Walter and Stella
graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1945. Mrs. Vanderhoff was employed
as a Food Service Supervisor at Danville State Hospital for 18 Ĺ years,
retiring in 1990.
was a member of the Danville VFW and the American Legion Womenís Auxiliary
of Danville Post 40. She enjoyed cooking, baking and reading. Her greatest
enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.
was married to the late John J. Vanderhoff, Sr. who preceded her in death
June 19, 1999. Surviving are two sons; David V. Gregorowicz of Milton FL
and his wife Janice and Mark W. Gregorowicz of Middletown CT and one
daughter, Joyce A. Roy of Stafford Springs CT. She is also survived by four
granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother,
Charles Napierski of Catawissa PA. She was preceded in death by one
brother, Chester Napierski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service to be held
Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM at New Rosemont Cemetery Old Berwick Road
Bloomsburg PA with the Reverend Dominic Azagbor officiating. Memorial
contributions may be made to the charity of the donorís choice.
