Frank R. Sabol, 70

Frank R. Sabol, 70, of 2467 Snydertown Road Danville PA passed away Friday evening, November 2, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.  He was born Sept. 21, 1942 in Bloomsburg PA the son of the late George and Emma Sabol. 

He graduated from Southern Columbia High School.  Frank was employed as a truck driver most of his life.  He was also employed at Textron in Danville PA.  Frank was very fond of farming. 

Frank was a member of the Teamsters Union and multiple local fire companies.  He was also a member of the Danville Moose.  Frank was well known by many for his light-hearted and warm smile.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

He was married to his wife of 49 years, the late Betty E.”Sis” Erlston Sabol who preceded him in death October 23, 2010.  They were married August 12, 1961. 

He is survived by one son, Frank R. Sabol, Jr. and his wife Dawnette of Danville PA and three daughters; Theresa L. “Terry” Long and her husband David of Springtown PA, Donna M. Summers of Danville PA and Beth Ann Fox and her husband Chad of Danville PA.  Also surviving are five grandchildren; Justin, Jasmine, Jolene, Autumn and Paige.   He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Michael W. Summers.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service which will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with the Reverend  Kenneth Paulhamus officiating.  Burial will be private in the Columbarium at Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville PA.   Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.  The family will provide flowers.
